Job Posting: Tipping Point Solutions - Web Developer/IT Support

 

SAULT SAINTE MARIE,  MICH.—Tipping Point Solutions, Inc. has an immediate opening for a Web Developer / IT Support position. The Web Developer / IT Support will be expected to design and maintain Website projects working with project processes, collaborate with team members and meet project deliverables by designing and presenting creative, detailed, Websites in addition to IT Support as assigned. 

Roles and Responsibilities: 

  • Collaborate with management, designers, and other developers to develop websites for our customers 
  • Intermediate level responsive web design experience. 
  • Understanding of how HTML impacts SEO. 
  • Experience with cross browser testing. 
  • Experience translating designs from Adobe Photoshop. 
  • Provide first response to all technical support requests entered buy TPS team members 
  • Process and prioritize employee technical requests by phone, email and or in person 
  • Use ticketing system to log all requests and activities including documentation of resolutions and system maintenance 
  • Support project needs by supporting project site builds 
  • Support user access for project and company sites 

Required Skills: 

  • Experience using HTML5  
  • Experience with cloud-based Web Development Softwares and/or builders; i.e., Wix, Weebly, Squarespace, WordPress, etc.    
  • Previous exposure or experience providing remote technical support to end users 
  • Advanced to Expert Office Software skills 
  • Excellent customer service work experience 
  • Professional and patient at all times with strong internal customer service skills 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills 
  • Strong analytical and independent problem-solving skills 
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities that may be time-sensitive 

Required Education and Experience: 

  • College degree in Computer Science or a related field and/or equivalent work experience. 
  • At least one technology certification such as the CompTIA A+, Network+ or Microsoft Certified Associate and Microsoft Technology Associate
