A vehicle fire caused a backup in westbound traffic on Interstate 40 across the Mississippi River bridge.

The horrific thing that happened took place really early on Wednesday morning.

The automobile was completely enveloped in flames, which resulted in considerable delays in traffic.

There were no reports of anyone sustaining any injuries as a result of this event.

It has not yet been determined what started the fire, but authorities are looking into it.

After the fire was put out, traffic was allowed to move through the region once more.
