About Us
To promote a strong economic environment for profitable tribal businesses, the Sault Tribe established the Sault Tribe Thrive program. Directed by the Sault Tribe Board of Directors, this program offers extensive business experience and a history in regional economic development. Since December 2019, Sault Tribe Thrive has connected with over 200 Sault Tribe citizen business owners, growing its business directory with initial funding from a two-year Minority Business Development Agency grant and additional support from the Sault Tribe.
With key strategic partners, Sault Tribe Thrive provides business support and technical assistance for startups and joint ventures like NationPoint, Chippewa Government Solutions, Hawkeye Facilities Maintenance, Sault Tribe Online Gaming, Ojibwe Contracting, and Ojibwe Hazardous Abatement. It also supports the Tribal Business Chamber of Commerce, the Sault Tribe Business Alliance. Guided by the Sault Tribe Board of Directors, Sault Tribe Thrive is diversifying the Tribal economy, investing in tribal communities, and improving the lives of tribal citizens. Looking to the future, it continues to empower economic prosperity for Sault Tribe citizens worldwide.
